Our client, a distinctive boutique hotel recognized for its exceptional service and unique atmosphere, is looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead their operations in Kaduna, Kaduna, NG . This is an on-site position requiring a strong presence and active management of all hotel functions. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Key duties include:
Overseeing all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Managing the hotel budget, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing hotel team. Maintaining exceptional standards of guest service and resolving guest complaints promptly and professionally. Implementing marketing and sales strategies to attract and retain guests. Overseeing property maintenance and ensuring a high level of aesthetic appeal and functionality. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and the local community. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to staff.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably in a boutique or luxury setting. Proven leadership abilities, strong financial acumen, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. A deep understanding of hotel operations, sales, marketing, and revenue management is required. The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
