StubHub is seeking a Cities Lead – East Coast to spearhead our city-level engagement and community strategy across major East Coast markets.

Reporting to the Head of North America, Government Relations, this role bridges local advocacy, civic partnerships, and communications to ensure StubHub is viewed as a trusted, community-oriented stakeholder in the live event ecosystem. You'll represent StubHub with mayors' offices, chambers of commerce, venue operators, and local advocacy groups - building relationships that reinforce our brand as a positive contributor to local economies and cultural life.

You'll work closely with state government affairs leads and communications teams to ensure city-level initiatives complement broader legislative and brand goal.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY

What You'll Do:

  • Lead city engagement and advocacy: Cultivate relationships with local policymakers, business associations, and cultural partners in key markets across the eastern US.
  • Drive alignment with statewide goals: Coordinate with state GR leads to ensure city strategies complement legislative priorities.
  • Strengthen community partnerships: Build relationships with civic and nonprofit organizations to demonstrate StubHub's commitment to community access and cultural participation.
  • Support charitable giving and social impact programs: Partner with internal teams to identify local organizations and initiatives aligned with StubHub's values and advocacy mission.
  • Represent StubHub in civic spaces: Engage at city events, chamber roundtables, and cultural forums as a visible, constructive partner.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Communications, Partnerships, and Marketing to integrate local storytelling and paid media into advocacy and community engagement campaigns.
  • Provide supplemental support: Assist regional GR leads with coalition work and issue campaigns as needed

What You've Done:

  • 7–10 years of experience in city government affairs, public policy, or community engagement.
  • Strong relationships within major East Coast cities and familiarity with municipal processes.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex political environments and build multi-sector partnerships.
  • Experience managing or advising on charitable or civic initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, public speaking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while coordinating with national teams in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
