Our client, a leading commercial airline operating in Nigeria, is seeking to recruit experienced and highly qualified Commercial Airline Captains to join their esteemed flight operations department based in Lagos, Lagos, NG. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, efficient, and punctual operation of our airline's fleet. As a Captain, you will be responsible for the command of assigned aircraft, the safety and well-being of passengers and crew, and adherence to all flight regulations and company policies. You will be expected to operate with the highest degree of professionalism and skill.

Key Responsibilities:
Command and control of assigned aircraft during all phases of flight.Ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and cargo.Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure the aircraft is airworthy.Plan flight routes, considering weather, air traffic, and fuel requirements.Communicate effectively with air traffic control, cabin crew, and ground personnel.Adhere strictly to all company operating procedures and aviation regulations.Manage crew resources and delegate tasks appropriately.Respond effectively to in-flight emergencies and abnormal situations.Maintain up-to-date flight logs and records.Uphold the highest standards of aviation professionalism and discipline.Conduct post-flight duties, including debriefing and reporting any issues.Contribute to a positive and safety-conscious crew environment.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a current Instrument Rating and Type Rating for the aircraft operated by the company.Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine turbine aircraft.First-class Medical Certificate.Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong understanding of aviation law, meteorology, and navigation.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Demonstrated commitment to safety and security.Previous experience with the specific aircraft type operated by the airline is advantageous.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Nigeria.
