This will include work with retail buyers, grower partners and Westrock field managers. In addition, you will constantly monitor financial performance and coordinate resources to achieve sales and margin targets. <br><br>This position will support the VP of Sales and Director of Sales in developing a market strategy, annual sales budgets and forecasting with the responsibility of identifying and developing new opportunities. <br><br><strong>How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: </strong><br><ul><li>Produce key account plans for all national and regional grower and retailers</li><li>Develop senior level relationships with all customers</li><li>Work with Smurfit Westrock BU's to identify and target cross selling opportunities</li><li>Secure profitable new business year over year within the assigned customer base</li><li>Lead regional discussions, negotiations and the pricing of all relevant Account bids in conjunction with Director of Sales</li><li>Drive high standards of customer relationship management (CRM) and sales Plan execution</li></ul><br><ul><li>Provide accurate short, medium, and long-term reporting and forecasts as necessary to support business planning activities </li></ul><br><ul><li>Work proactively with the Director of Sales to introduce and implement margin enhancement opportunities with all work won</li><li>Develop new business through working with retailer executive team and buyers, Grower partners and Westrock field managers, which may include site visits and phone contact</li><li>Build relationships both internally and externally</li></ul><br><br><strong>What you need to succeed: </strong><br><ul><li>Degree or 5 years' relevant sales experience </li><li>Proven track record of sales success & delivery </li><li>Proven successful account management experience </li><li>Must have excellent personal computer skills to include experience with e-mail, social media, word processing and PowerPoint presentations</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to communicate verbally and in writing effectively at all levels </li><li>Be culturally aware.
