We are seeking a talented and energetic Mid-Level Designer to join a dynamic Creative & Product team within this branded, soft furnishings/textiles business. Working across a wide range of iconic entertainment, gaming, and sports brands, you’ll create visually outstanding licensed and branded collections for products such as bedding, towels, cushions, accessories, and more. You’ll collaborate closely with licensors, internal teams, and senior designers to deliver designs that are both inspiring and commercially successful.

What You’ll Do

  • Design visually engaging concepts across a variety of licensed homeware categories.
  • Work with licensors, to create ranges using official style guides and supporting artwork approval processes.
  • You will do graphics and AOP’s and repeat patterns, product visuals, mood boards, trend research and summary boards, designing home collections
  • Design with manufacturing in mind to ensure all concepts are achievable and commercially viable by understanding the textile design industry
  • Ensure that requirements are met via Licensors, customers and internal teams
  • Produce “mood boards” to show upcoming rends, key themes and design direction
  • Create mood boards that highlight upcoming trends, themes, and design direction.
  • Support Senior Designers in delivering designs to key critical path deadlines. Assist with seasonal ranges, retailer-specific collections, and product mock-ups deadlines are met for launch dates
  • Understand 3D form, scale, and the physical characteristics of homeware products.

To apply you will have:

  • You must licensed/branded products experience, ideally within textiles/soft lines or home or hard lines experience
  • A strong creative environment. Portfolio demonstrating commercial design experience, ideally within an in-house
  • Ability to confidently present design concepts at various stages of development.
  • Proficiency in the latest design software, plus experience with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
