A “Soother Therapist” is a quality guarantee. What we’re looking for: We are looking for great therapists to be the founding therapists of Soother, to trial alongside and to launch with. We are looking for therapists to conduct 1 to 1, online counselling sessions, remotely from wherever they work best. Soother partners with SMEs and offers simple access to therapy for their employees. No hurdles for them to jump over and no hoops for them to jump through, just easy access to therapy with great therapists. We are looking for therapists that are comfortable working with clients on both a short and long-term basis. What we offer: It’s like private practice, but better. You trained to be a therapist, you do the therapy, we\'ll do the rest. We offer: Competitive private practice rates of pay oUnderpaying therapists will never positively impact therapy, so that won’t happen here. Freedom and flexibility oWe’re simply a bolt on enhancement to therapists’ private practice. Save time on admin oNo need to invoice or even discuss money with clients. Save time and money on marketing oWe are cost free and risk free. As a Soother therapist working on a freelance basis you will be free to manage your own availability. Employees book available slots in your calendar, therapy takes place, you get paid; it’s as simple as that. There’s no need to market yourself, look for clients or manage invoicing and chase payments. What you’ll need: ·Membership with an ethical body in the UK (BACP, NCPS, UKCP etc.) ·Proof of qualifications ·Enhanced DBS clearance ·Professional indemnity and public liability insurance ·Ability to work independently and remotely ·Ability to accurately maintain availability using an online calendar ·Determination to maintain the highest standards in professionalism including time keeping, communication, organisation and integrity. ·Work in line with your ethical body’s ethical framework, maintaining your own working reputation, the reputation of therapy as a whole and that of Soother at all times. ·A passion for people and their mental wellbeing. ·An appetite to continue to improve access to, and the quality of mental health support in the UK. Preferred but not essential: ·3+ years’ experience in private practice. ·Experience of working with clients online. ·Versatility to offer support for a wide range of presenting issues. ·Comfortable working with clients both short and long term.
