Remote Financial Accountant Job

Our team provides world-class financial analysis and accounting support within the real estate sector. We partner with a diverse clientele of private equity investors, developers, and fund managers across the U.S. and Europe.

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support our U.S.-based clients. This role requires someone who is confident managing client communication and delivering accurate, timely accounting outputs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Zoho Books, understands U.S. accounting fundamentals, and can independently manage multiple client files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks (QBO/QBD) and Zoho Books
  • Manage and post journal entries, accruals, amortization, and fixed assets
  • Perform bank, credit card, loan, merchant, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts per industry norms
  • Process accounts payable, receivables, and assist with payroll postings
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual
  • Perform variance analysis and prepare KPI/management dashboards
  • Maintain and update cash flow forecasts and budget models

Requirements:

  • CPA License Preferred (Active or In-Progress acceptable)
  • Proven experience with U.S. GAAP, ASC standards, tax compliance workflows, and audit support
  • Experience working within or managing a CPA firm, advisory practice, or finance outsourcing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4+ years experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, or management accounting
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Zoho Books
  • Strong month-end close, reconciliation, and reporting experience
